A Wyoming man is dead following a crash in Laramie that injured two others, but state troopers suspect a medical condition may be to blame.

The man who died, 53-year-old Franklin Taylor, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to a report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The wreck occurred just before 2 p.m. Sunday near the beginning of Wyoming Highway 130 in Laramie.

A Toyota Camry was eastbound on Wyoming Highway 230, also known as Snowy Range Road, while a Chevy Silverado was westbound. The Camry crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, where it hit the Silverado head-on.

The report identifies Taylor as the driver of one of the vehicles, but does not specify which vehicle he occupied. The report also does not explicitly state whether it was Taylor or another person who suffered the possible medical condition.

The road surface was dry at the time of the crash, per the report. The Laramie Police Department investigated the incident.

No details regarding the possible medical condition were released, which is typical in such incidents due to privacy concerns.
