We've all had fun over the years laughing at song lyrics that we heard wrong.

Well, we've also heard a lot of lines from movies wrong, or we remember them wrong.

The movie “Tombstone” came out in 1993. We all remember Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer, saying “I’m your huckleberry,” in the movie.

But, did he really say that?

People keep asking why he said those words. What do they mean?

Hollywood wasn’t taking liberties with the truth in this movie. Doc Holliday actually spoke the line in real life.

But what does the phrase “I’m your huckleberry” actually mean? Why would Doc Holliday say it?

Actually, he didn't. You heard it wrong.

Holliday actually said, “I’m your huckle bearer.”

The handle of a casket used to carry the dead is called a "HUCKLE."

The person helping to carry the casket is a "BEARER."

“I’m your huckle bearer.” is what Val Kilmer was supposed to be saying, based on the real words spoken by the real Doc Holliday.

You can add this to the long list of movie lines and words in songs that you SWORE you knew but, like the rest of us, have been getting wrong all of this time.

That's too bad because there are memes and even T-shirts out there with the wrong words written on them based on what folks thought Val Kilmer was saying.

Now that makes me wonder how many other famous lines we got wrong.

"Play it again Sam."  SORRY - he never said that.

Vintage Wyoming Movie Posters

I love walking down the hallway of a modern movie theater and looking at the old posters of vintage movies.

That got me thinking about old Westerns based on Wyoming. How many of those posters are still around?

Many are, and many are for sale online, if you want to decorate your home, or even home theater, with classic and mostly forgotten movie posters.

Most of these films were made before the era of television. Hollywood was cranking out these things as fast as they could.

The plots, the scrips, the acting, directing, and editing were SO BAD, they were good.
