Our friend Clay Anthony at the Nicolaysen Art Museum asked us to pass along that they are still open - even though road construction has got the area around it jumbled up a bit.  Kimball and Collins streets are closed - but the Nic is open for business with several great exhibits, in addition to the Discovery Center and Museum Shop.  Here's the best way to get in, if you'd like to pay 'em a visit:

Approach the museum's parking lot by going south down Beech Street from Second Street for the easiest way in.  However, access is still available through the intersection of Beech and Collins Streets, although you may have to dodge a few traffic cones along the way.

Word from the city is that the project will be complete right around the NIC, and both streets reopened by early June.

They're open 10am 'til 5pm Tuesdays through Saturdays, and noon 'til 4pm on Sundays.   More info, call (307) 235-5247, or check their website.
