Out of all the states in the U.S., Wyoming is one in which a president has not spoken at one of our schools' commencements. What gives?

Actually, when you break down the facts, 19 states have never had a president (active or retired) give an address there: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

So while we shouldn't feel too left out considering that there's still a few more states in the same boat, it wouldn't be beneath us to put out a formal invitation to come visit us and send off a few graduates with a some inspirational words.

Mr. President, you've got twelve months to fit this into your schedule now. You can't say we didn't give you enough advance notice. :)
