May 21st, 1972, Christopher George Latore Wallace a.k.a. Frank White/Biggie/Big Poppa was born to Voletta Wallace in Brooklyn, New York. Largely considered one of the greatest Hip-Hop lyricist of all time, the life of Biggie Smalls was taken by a shooter in Los Angeles during the prime of his career, on March 9th, 1997. Big was 24 years old.

The Bad Boy Recording artist had been the flagship name on the roster of the company founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Wallace is survived by his two children, daughter Ty'anna and son (with ex-wife Faith Evans) C.J.
