The Mule Deer Foundation has been working all over Wyoming on projects to help mule deer herds. MDF will hold fundraising events throughout the year to get these projects moving.

The next scheduled event is the Mule Deer Palooza in Casper at Gruner Brothers Brewing with Infinite Outdoors on August 15. It's going to be a cool event: there will be a live raffle, silent auction, food, beer, and lots of fun.

If you're worried about spending all night at the event on a work night, ease your worries. It will only take two hours, from 7 to 9, and you'll know if you're the winner of the prizes before the night is over. The value of the prizes ranges from $350 to $2,000 and are items you'll be able to use in the field or at the range.

To register for the event and buy your tickets in advance, go to the Mule Deer Foundations website and select your ticket package. Registration is free. Ticket packages start at $100 and go up from there.

All who register online prior to the event will be entered to win a $100 Raffle Package. All who order raffle packages prior to the event will receive free additional raffle tickets as listed in each package. Online sales will end August 15th at 4 PM, but don’t worry if you miss the online sales you can still buy tickets at the event.

Over the last few years, the Mule Deer Foundation of Wyoming has been teaming up with Wyoming Whiskey to release special MDF bottles of Whiskey, and this year's bottle is the final of the series. You'll have a chance to check it out on the 15th.
