Fundraiser Concert In Casper Supports Mrs. Wyoming America’s National Run
Casper has the chance to be the home of Mrs. America, as the newly crowned Mrs. Wyoming America, Brandi Krugler, will represent Wyoming in the national Mrs. America pageant in Las Vegas later this month.
Brandi is a retired police officer who transitioned to working as a therapist for first responders in Natrona County and is using her Mrs.Wyoming America platform to continue serving Wyoming. Brandi also founded the nonprofit SHIFT (Supporting Heroes, Individuals, Families, and Teams), which helps first responders and their families navigate the realities of trauma, mental health, and healing.
Brandi says her personal experiences inspire her to continue helping.
My platform is Beyond Survival and it is my story from cop to counselor and the healing that came surviving a suicide attempt and I experiencing a major post traumatic transformation. My goal is to spread this state and nation wide as I am headed to Mrs. America in a few short weeks.
To get to Vegas and represent Wyoming in the competition, the contestants are fundraising to cover everything from dresses and accessories to travel and other expenses that will arise during their reign.
Mrs. Wyoming America will be holding a fundraising concert and silent auction at the Rialto in Casper on Thursday, August 20. The night's music will be provided by the Black Powder Blues Band and Justin Baxter. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and tickets are only $10, with all proceeds benefiting her run to become Mrs. America.
