Wyoming’s Most Expensive Home for Sale is a Wild West Paradise
The most expensive home (currently) listed for sale in Wyoming is incredible...and, according to the realtor, “Incredibly rare." Considering the whopping $58 million price tag, the property has to be pretty special.
Picture this: sweeping views of the Grand Tetons, horses leisurely roaming the peaceful fields and meadows, and sunsets illuminating picturesque cabins in golden light. You get all of this and more at Grand View River Ranch. It's any Dutton's dream.
David NeVille, a representative from the reality firm Neville AsBell Real Estate, told realtor.com that the listing is remarkable, not just because of the price, but because of its location. “Every few years, we’ll get a $50 million listing, but this type of listing has year-round access and is 20 minutes outside of Jackson.”
Wyoming's Most Expensive Home for Sale is a Nature-Lover's Paradise
The Grand View River Ranch is a gorgeous property - seriously, any Dutton would be proud to own the ranch. The ranch currently operates as a working ranch in combination with a dude ranch, meaning yup, real cowboys and cowgirls call this ranch home.
You can live the real Western life at the ranch. The property was originally homesteaded by William Smith in 1910 and has operated as a working ranch in some capacity ever since. Interestingly, the ranch wasn't a riverfront property until 1925, when a massive rock slide shifted the Gros Ventre River to Grand View's property. The oldest-standing building on the property is the original homesteading cabin, built in the 1920s.
The location alone isn't the only reason this property comes with such a hefty price tag. The ranch covers 118 acres that include 1/2 an acre of riverfront property - with private fishing! - horseback riding trails, historic buildings, and a riding arena. The ranch can host up to 40 guests and 30 staff, according to NeVille - plenty of room for a team of ranch hands and all your friends who are 'Yellowstone' fans.
The Gand View River Ranch is a nature-lover's paradise. Residents and guests can cross-country ski from their cabin's front door in the winter, hunt in the autumn, and explore rugged wilderness year-round! Check out the stunning photos of the ranch and its property!
