Ludacris Marries Eudoxie Mbouguiengue Less Than Two Weeks After Announcing Engagement
2015 is seriously turning out to be the year of surprise weddings and surprise babies. From Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' newborn baby to Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's secret wedding, we're off to a pretty good start so far. And then Ludacris announced that he and fiancee Eudoxie Mbouguiengue wed over the holidays less than two weeks after first proposing. Phew!
Ludacris took to Instagram today (Jan. 6) to let fans know that, just kidding, he and his beautiful fiancee actually got married at the tail end of 2014. He captioned an insanely cute photo of the couple with: "Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsbridges." The pair look cozy and totally in love while sitting on a couch together. Eudoxie is wearing a long, white wedding gown (duh) while Ludacris is in a classic black and white suit with no tie.
Ludacris' rep confirmed the marriage to PEOPLE, saying: "We can confirm they got married privately over the holidays." Ludacris first let fans in on the engagement via Instagram, proving himself to be a total king of captions, writing: "She didn't say yes. She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal," beneath a photo collage of the two on an airplane, where Ludacris proposed, with a bed of flowers spelling out 'Eudoxie will you marry me" in a field they flew over. Way too cute.
We'd like to extend our best wishes to the happy couple, and give Luda some serious props for the way he let us all in on the news. The proposal game has officially been elevated.
