It's that time again to go back. Throwback Thursday highlights the dirty south once again. This week, we go back to Ludacris' first official single. Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges began as a radio disc jockey for the Atlanta station Hot 97.5 and used the name "Chris Lova Lova". During this time, he started selling his music out of his trunk. After pushing a nice amount of units (it has been rumored to be more than 50,000), he gained the attention of Def Jam Records.

Everything else is history. With 7 albums currently out with another on the way, a nice resume of acting in big budget movies (The Fast and Furious series) and a plethora of awards and nominations, the 36 year old rap veteran will be around for years to come. Oh... not to mention his business ventures with his Soul headphone line and Conjure liquor. I guess now we know your fantasy has come true.
