Ludacris Is Granted Full Custody of His One-Year-Old Daughter
Ludacris has serious reason to rejoice today. After a lengthy custody battle over his daughter, Cai Bridges, it looks like he has been awarded full custody of the one-year-old girl.
According to E! News, Ludacris released a statement explaining how overjoyed he was to hear the decision. He said, "After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter."
Ludacris and Cai's mother, Tamika Fuller, has been embroiled in the custody battle since Feb. 2014, when Ludacris first filed for full physical custody of his daughter, saying he was the more "fit and capable parent" and that he was "an active father" to Cai.
Tamika reportedly accused Ludacris' marriage to his now-wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, of being used as a way to prove he was a more fit parent to gain the judge's favor. Whatever the case, the judge clearly sided with Ludacris and awarded him full physical custody of Cai.
