Advocates of the move say Colorado leaders have forgotten the needs of rural Coloradans in favor of the metropolitan front range.

This year, Jennie Gordon is partnering with Natrona County Law Enforcement as part of the First Lady’s Wyoming Hunger Initiative. With this partnership, not only will these children receive presents – they will also each receive a food basket as well.

The Wyoming Governor's Office has put out a press release, stating that Governor Gordon has ordered Wyoming State Flags to be flown at Half Staff on Tuesday, November 24. This is to honor the late Clark A. Smith, who served in the Wyoming House of Representatives in 1965 and passed away on November 19.

Under the new orders, indoor and outdoor gatherings will be limited to 25 people or fewer without restrictions.

“This is an incredibly difficult position that business owners are in right now because it’s not just about making money. You’ve also got payroll; you’ve got people that are depending on that income; it’s a really difficult position to be in.”

The announcement came minutes before Gordon is scheduled to address reporters at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Bob Lampert retired after a 46-year career in corrections.

Gordon said the declaration opens the opportunity for the state to receive additional resources including financial aid.

The order was initially set to expire April 3.

By pitching in voluntarily, stricter controls on movement might be avoided, the governor said.

Wyoming Department of Transportation Officials will reassess the situation on April 20 to determine if testing can resume, the order states.
