Throwback Thursday: Das EFX [VIDEO]

For this week's Throwback Thursday video, we go back in time to 1993 with Das EFX.

The duo that made up Das EFX, (Dray & Skoob), introduced an entirely new style of rhyming to Hip-Hop, which was often imitated, but never duplicated in the early 90s. The crew was part of an east coast collective of emcees brought together by EPMD, which came to be known as the hit squad.

'They Want EFX' was the groups first major hit. Still a classic, just hearing the intro of this track brings back nostalgia. I remember bumping this in my Sony Walkman on the bus to high school. Awwwww, the good ole days.
