I love my Colorado friends. They are special people and I mean that sincerely. There is more proof of how special they can be as there's a video making the rounds of a Colorado dude trying to move his mobile home with a Uhaul.

ViralHog shared this on YouTube with the following description about what went down (literally) in Durango, Colorado:

I was headed to work south of Durango. I rounded the corner and seen a single-wide trailer in the middle of the road. I was wondering what kind of person would pull a trailer and try to make that corner from that direction. Then, I saw the Uhaul pulling it and it all made sense.

Here's some simple Colorado mobile home math. I checked the weight of most mobile homes and found a Free Mobile Home Info website. According to them, the ballpark weight of most mobile homes will probably be between 20,000 and 30,000 pounds. Roughly. Remember those numbers.

The Uhaul website shows the maximum towing capacity of a Uhaul is 5,290 pounds. Impressive. But, not mobile home impressive.

As you can see in the video, this attempt results in lots of tire (and maybe engine) smoke. Fortunately, it doesn't appear anyone was hurt in this moving attempt other than the pocketbook of the homeowner who is likely having to hire professional home movers.

Let's hope he purchased full insurance on that Uhaul.
