5 Things Wyoming Residents Should Vow To Do More Of In 2018
With 2017 coming to a quick close, it's time to look ahead and make a few goals for 2018.
Resolutions are an individual process, but there are a few things we should all be able to agree on in the new year to make Wyoming better.
We're not suggesting you break the bank, but when you get the opportunity to support your local mom and pop store or Wyoming-made products, we hope you'll choose to do so.
Wyoming was ranked as the least safe state to drive in the winter this year, and it wasn't close. Even in the warmer months, take a few extra minutes and look out for your fellow motorists and pedestrians.
If you have the time and resources, volunteer. Even if it's for a once-a-year event. If you have an extra couple of bucks, give it to your favorite charity. Help some kids, pets, veterans, the elderly, whatever you like. Giving back makes you feel good too.
Do a little better when it comes to holding doors, putting the shopping cart back, picking up your trash. The little things add up and make your community more enjoyable.
Chances are there's at least one place in Wyoming you haven't seen yet. Go see something new, spend a day learning about a small Wyoming town, see a Cheyenne Frontier Days show. Wyoming is full of options and you won't regret experiencing them.
