They Don't Say "CY Avenue" Correctly
Pronouncing it "Cy" (as in "sigh") vice "C-Y" (as in "see why") is an instant giveaway you're new to the area. Only Google and Siri are allowed to say it that way and we don't trust either of them half the time anyway.

We all know that technically three-zero-seven is the correct verbiage for our area code, but no one uses that in everyday speech.

We all know "technically" Wyoming Boulevard is correct, but we still call that little stretch of Wyoming Highway 258, Outer Drive.
