5 Wyoming-Themed Jack O’Lantern Ideas
October arrives this weekend and that means it's pumpkin carving season. Traditional jack o'lanterns are still very cool, but the latest trend is to show off your carving skills with unique designs.
Over the past few Halloween's you likely have noticed a few Wyoming-themed pumpkins around. Here's some of our favorite ideas!
- 1
The Steamboat
Wyoming's most known symbol, the Steamboat bucking horse. You'll need steady hands and some patience to make a good one, but it can be done. There are several patterns online.
- 2
Pistol Pete
I've seen a couple Pistol Pete jack o'lanterns the last few years, but it's still pretty unique. There's a much easier to use cartoon version of Wyoming's mascot if you do a quick Google search.
- 3
Devil's Tower
Make a Wyoming skyline with the Tetons or Devil's Tower. If you're a pro at texturing, this could look really cool. If you're not, it could end up looking like a hole in a pumpkin.

Anything 307
Put your own unique spin on the 307 area code. This is simple enough to do, plus it still looks cool. Maybe add a small 307 with your already existing jack o'lantern to give it some Wyoming-flare.

Wyoming Flag
Again, easier patterns to trace online, but if you can sculpt out the buffalo and a square pattern around it that look like a flag, you've got yourself a very cool jack o'lantern!
