80's Anime May Have Predicted Our Technology

This is somewhat scary. Why? Because how many other movies (outside Anime), have just about accurately produced tech we have readily available now. Now this is just a short video done by the people over at YouTube channel Dorkly, but I can personally attest to my lovely Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch being very similar to watches on Dick Tracy, Inspector Gadget and of course Knight Rider. I guarantee some of the inventions/predictions in this video will freak you out a little. The one that freaked me out the most... the cult classic (and ultra-confusing), 1988 Japanese anime Akira predicted an Olympics-style games set in the year 2020 in Neo-Japan. Guess where the real Olympic games will be held in 2020?
