The US Air Force 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming has been busy. They just test-fired an ICBM missile early Wednesday morning.

The Air Force Times reported that this ICBM was actually launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. They said that the Air Force Global Strike Command in Wyoming indicated that the missile traveled over 4,200 miles to a target in the Marshall Islands.

I'm not sure why this is impressive to me, but I find it awesome that we can launch missiles in California from Wyoming.

In case you're wondering if this means war is imminent, the Air Force said in their statement as reported by The Air Force Times that these are routine tests and have nothing to do with any world developments or tensions.
