Casper police on Saturday arrested a woman after she allegedly drove her car while intoxicated with a young girl inside the vehicle.

Bobbi Jo Prosser, 35, was booked into jail on recommended charges of driving while under the influence with child endangerment.

Charging papers say shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of a drunk driver in the area of the C85 Pump Room on North Center Street.

The person who called police said a woman wearing a coat with no shirt, a bra, sweatpants and boots had entered the establishment and attempted to purchase alcohol. The reporting party said the woman's belly "was hanging out there and more," and the woman was refused service because she already appeared "very intoxicated," according to the affidavit.

The woman got into her silver, four-door passenger car and drove away toward a liquor store.

An officer who was dispatched to the call stopped at North Center Street and F Street. While Stopped, the officer saw a sliver, four-door passenger car turn from F Street north onto Center Street. The officer reportedly saw the vehicle make a very wide turn, then slowly drift left and apparently cross the center line.

The officer tried to catch up to the vehicle, and saw the vehicle come to a complete stop at the intersection of Center and K Street, where there was no stop sign. The officer followed the vehicle as it slowly turned onto West K Street, enter a trailer park off of North Center Street, then pull into a driveway and come to a stop.

The driver, who was exiting the vehicle, identified herself as Prosser. The officer noted her appearance matched the description provided to dispatch.

As the officer approached, a young girl ran out of the vehicle and went into the trailer.

Prosser was apparently intoxicated, according to the affidavit, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

Prosser was arrested for DUI. Once at the Natrona County Detention Center, a breath test indicated Prosser had a blood-alcohol content of .23, which is nearly three times the legal limit to drive.

In court documents, the arresting officer says Prosser has no previous DUI convictions. The charge was filed through Natrona County Circuit Court, as there is no corresponding municipal ordinance for DUI with child endangerment.
