If this study is accurate, you might want to think twice about staying overnight next time you road trip to Denver. They have just been listed as a top 50 bed bug city in America.

This is one of those lists you never want to end up on. It's a new study released by Orkin who ranked cities based on how many bed bug treatments that have happened over the past year. Specifically, this counts the treatments between December 1, 2017 and November 30, 2018.

Denver comes in at #27 and rising among cities with the biggest bed bug problems.

If you've ever had to deal with bed bugs, you know the pain and struggle it takes to get rid of them. The EPA has a handy what-to-do list if you learn you have bed bugs, but they warn it takes time and recommend involving professionals in helping you deal with treatment.

Orkin reminds people that bed bugs can travel with you if you encounter them. That means if you run into an infestation in a motel/hotel, they can travel with you when you return home. Yuck.

If you're wondering about a specific Denver location, you can always check the Bed Bug Registry to see if there are any reports for a place you're considering.
