Slang is a constantly evolving form of language. There is newer terms coming out everyday. If I'm being totally honest, if it wasn't for my teenage children, I'd be way more disconnected (well, more disconnected than I already as a 48 year old man).

Recently, I came across a list Gen X (Generation X), slang terms on Facebook.

First, let's break down the age group of Gen X-ers. They (we) are the demographic cohort following the Baby Boomers and preceding Millennials. The year range is usually considered between the years of 1965 to 1980.

At any rate, after taking a long look at the list, I realized how old I really am (shocker, right?). I still got a heckuva giggle out of some them.

How many of these "old school" slang terms do you still use?

Don't feel bad if it's more than a few. I'm still using about ten of them in my daily conversations to this day. Don't judge me.
