New United Express flights from Riverton Regional Airport to Denver International Airport will begin January 12, 2020, according to a statement from SkyWest Airlines, which will operate the flights.

The company will use 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft to service Riverton. SkyWest says it has been named Bombardier's most reliable operator in North American five times.

"We're excited to help Riverton travelers connect to Denver and beyond, and to ensure they enjoy access to reliable, efficient flights," Greg Atkin, managing director of market development for SkyWest, said in a news release.

Each flight will be timed to allow passengers the greatest number of connection opportunities in Denver. Passengers will be able to build and use frequent flyer miles in United's MileagePlus loyalty program.

"We are thrilled to have SkyWest continue the tradition of commercial air service in Fremont County," said Missy White, chair of the Fremont Air Service Team. "Our airport has been part of commercial air service since the 1940s and it has played a critical role to many parts of our community."

Flights can be booked immediately at United.com or by calling 800-864-8331.
