Victim in Douglas Stabbing Was From Casper

A man who died last week after being stabbed has been identified as 57-year-old Casper resident Mickey Box. James Box, 31 also of Casper, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the incident, the Douglas Police Department said in a press release Wednesday.

According to a previous statement, Douglas police were first called to the Memorial Hospital of Converse County emergency room Oct 2. When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed.

Mickey Box died Oct. 7 at Wyoming Medical Center.
