What Kind of Animal Track Did I Run Across Yesterday?

Alright I need your help. I don't think this is just some dog track... Any help out there? Maybe I think it is something it is not.

My friend with me also thought it was something other then just some regular dog. As you can see it is pretty big and there are some evident claws. It was near the water and there were other tracks near it and obviously deer and even a small dog but nothing this big...

Any help from my outdoors friends out there?
