Separated At Birth: Wyoming Wrestler Bryce Meredith and Actor Andrew Rannells
If you've ever seen the HBO series Girls, have you noticed the resemblance between the actor who plays Elijah and UW's All-American wrestler Bryce Meredith? It's uncanny.
Meredith is entering his senior season as a two-time All American. In 2016, the Cheyenne native placed second at the NCAA Tournament, becoming Wyoming's first national finalist in 20 years.
He's also a standout in the classroom. Last year, Meredith became the 18th UW wrestler named to the NWCA All-Academic team.
Meanwhile, his celebrity doppelganger Andrew Rannells is a rising star in Hollywood. Along with his critically acclaimed role on Girls, Rannells has won a Grammy Award for his work in the Broadway production The Book of Mormon and is a two-time Tony Award nominee.
