A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Natrona County from 5:00pm Friday through 11:00am Saturday as snow is on the way for Northern and Central Wyoming. The National Weather Service in Riverton says a cold front will move south across the area and bring snow to much of northern and central Wyoming.

NWS meteorologists say the snow will begin as a rain and snow mix in the lower elevations, with total snow accumulations of three to five inches.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Officials say you can expect snow covered and slippery roads and limited visibilities, and you should use caution while driving.
