Casper police have released the name of one adult male allegedly involved in a widespread vandalism incident over the weekend in Casper. Fifteen reports have been filed totaling $7,500 in property damage.

According to court documents. Videl F. Flores was arrested Sunday afternoon on charges of felony property destruction.

A juvenile was also arrested in connection with the incident.

The Casper Police Department received several reports of vehicles and buildings with broken windows. When police responded to those calls, they determined the property damage was possibly caused by a BB gun.

The majority of the reports came from the northeastern and north-central areas of Casper. One of the damaged properties included Quality Autos. A representative from the business posted surveillance footage of the suspects shooting a projectile out of a vehicle window to social media.

Police learned the juvenile may be a suspect in the events from the social media post. The juvenile was located at his residence along with a vehicle that matched the description of the one in the surveillance footage. Police found several BBs on the vehicle's floor.

Through interviews with Flores and the juvenile, they learned a slingshot was used in the incident. The juvenile and Flores originally intended to use a BB gun but decided one would be too expensive. Instead, they purchased a slingshot for $10.

During interviews with police, Flores said he only participated in three or four of the window shootings and that he didn't know who was involved in the other incidents. However, when asked to name someone who could corroborate his story, he refused.

Flores and the juvenile were expected to appear in Natrona County Circuit Court Monday afternoon.

Police are asking all victims to obtain written estimates or receipts of repair for the damage, for purposes of the criminal investigation.
