It looks like you can take advantage of the program online by having the books shipped.

Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed reading. I didn't necessarily enjoy teachers telling me to read certain books by certain deadlines, but if given my choice in a book, I could easily get lost in it. Right now, I'm really enjoying anything from Gregory Maguire and Liane Moriarty, and I'm currently reading through the original Oz series from L. Frank Baum.

What are you reading?

For the book lovers out there, Barnes & Noble is offering a Summer Reading Program for all ages. The categories are Ages 0-7, Ages 8-12, Teens and Young Adults, and Adults. All you have to do is choose your age category, then choose your subcategory. There is a long list of genres like Literary Fiction, Modern Love Stories, Mysteries, If You Like Game of Thrones, and more.

Once you click on a subcategory, you will find a list of books to jump start your summer reading.

According to ThoughtCo, children who are participating in this reading program will be able to receive a free book once they have finished eight books. Parents can print out a reading journal for their kids to fill out as they read. A parent or guardian will need to sign off on the journal before their child can receive a free book. The free books will be chosen from the free book list, according to their age category.

Since you can order books online, why not put in an order or two? Let's turn some pages!
