Hip-Hop is not usually a genre that comes to mind when you think of Casper, but there have been many local artists over the course of the last two decades that have actively been trying to change that dynamic.

Earlier this year, RhymeSick rappers Alphamatic and Statik G released the Corner To Corner Cypher Vol. 1 video which featured former Shady Records artist, KXNG Crooked. Casper native and veteran rapper, Doc Suess recently released volume 2 of the cypher video series. Crooked is also featured on this second installment as well as fellow Casper rapper Twitch. Also featured in the video are RhymeSick founder Statik G and Denver rapper Poetik Genious.

KXNG Crooked (formerly known as Crooked I) is a heavyweight in the Hip-Hop game, especially on the west coast. In addition to his many solo accolades, he was also a member of the now disbanded supergroup, Slaughterhouse. He is currently working on his solo career and a group project with his four brothers titled "Family Bvsiness".
