Hump Day Hip-Hop: Heavvy Faith [VIDEO]

Hump Day Hip-Hop is back for the first time in 2015 and this week's artist isn't a native of Wyoming, but a transplant. We welcome to the 307, Christian Rapper: Heavvy Faith.

Heavvy Faith is originally from the crime ridden streets of Flint, Michigan. When the state's job market started to crash once GM started closing plants, he relocated to Wyoming. Having grown up in Christian-home, it was know surprise that once the Hip-Hop bug caught his attention, that he would use it as a tool to spread "the good word".

'Never Been This High' is an awesome song with dance clup type beat and easy-to-sing-a-long with hook. The title is a play on words with Heavvy using high as an analogy, or probably more of a metaphor for the way God's love makes him feel inside. The word play, the message and the beat, all work well together with Heavy's voice to make it not just a great Christian Rap song... but a great song period.
