Two people are in custody and no injuries have been reported despite an exchange of gunfire between law enforcement officers and at least one suspect Saturday night.

Christopher Joseph Eads, 34, of Casper, was arrested early Sunday morning after an hours-long standoff with officers at Dayton Transmission.

Santana Grace Keener, 25, also of Casper, was arrested in Glenrock late Saturday night.

According to a news release from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the pair took off on a "crime spree" which lasted from Saturday into early Sunday.

Investigators believe Eads and Keener were involved in "multiple serious violent crimes, including narcotics violations, assaults on law enforcement officers, robbery, burglary, and aggravated assault."

Glenrock Police Chief Timothy S. Hurd said in a statement that at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers from his agency responded to help arrest Eads and Keener.

During that response, two "violent events." occurred in Glenrock. After "relentless pursuit," the statement reads, the suspects were taken into custody.

At least one of the suspects exchanged gunfire with officers during Saturday's events. A number of local and state law enforcement agencies were involved in Saturday's incident, and it is currently unknown which officers or suspect fired shots.

The division anticipates formal charges against both Eads and Keener.

The investigation continues.
