Throwback Thursday: D12 [VIDEO]

Throwback Thursday is back and headed to the Midwest. This week we journey to Detroit. Motor City, Rock City, there are many ways to describe it. How about the home of Eminem and his 5 friends, collectively known as the Dirty Dozen or simply, D12.

In addition to Slim, the group consists of Kon Artis, Kuniva, Swifty, Bizarre, and the late Proof (who was also Em's best friend and hype man). The group has been less active since Proof's murder and Shady concentrating on other business ventures, but having two platinum albums under your belt will most likely help you sleep at night.

Often criticized for the violence and drug innuendo in their music, it seldom stopped the fans from purchasing everything they could get their hands on. Here's to Detroit!!! And R.I.P. Proof.
