Bison Charges Near Tourists At Full Speed In Yellowstone [VIDEO]
(@RichardpPhoto)
Bison are huge animals, but they usually aren't thought of as being fast movers. A tour group in Yellowstone recently found out firsthand how fast the massive beasts truly are.
A British wildlife photographer, Richard Peters, posted a shocking video of a bison galloping dangerously close to his group's vehicle on February 3rd, 2019. He posted the following message along with the video on his Twitter feed:
One of the most memorable close encounters of our Yellowstone Winter Wildlife trip. Bison may look slow but they’re surprisingly quick when they want to be! #NaturesImages
Maybe because Peters is a wildlife photographer or maybe because of the snow, but we are so thankful he, nor his party, decided to exit the vehicle to get better footage.
