As the weather turns to a less desired temperature it’s time to dust off those skates and head to the Casper Ice Arena!  They are working hard to provide the city of Casper with all sorts of interesting activities. Check out all the details below.


  • Spooky Skate

    Ice skating? Check. Costumes? Check. Prizes? Check!

    The Casper Ice Arena is happy to announce the 2011 Spooky Skate. Everyone who attends will get to skate to spooky music, play games, and even win prizes!

    Those folks who show up in a costume will receive $1.00 off regular priced admission.

    Admission will be $4.00 per person and skate rentals are $2.00. The Casper Ice Arena will also have walkers/trainers available for an additional $3.00. Helmets are provided, free of charge.

    Children 4 and under get in for FREE.

  • The Totcicles return!

    It's never too early to learn how to ice skate!

    The Casper Ice Arena is proud to bring back an exciting program for 2-5 year-olds and their parents! Totcicles will be offered on Fridays from 9:00am-10:00am November 4-December 16, 2011. This fun program features a half hour of fun and creative movement on the ice (with or without skates) followed by free hot chocolate, a snack and story time. The cost is only $36 for the whole 6-weeks or just $7 per child for drop-in. Parents are free!

    All children must wear helmets and adults must wear shoes on the ice. Some skating instruction will be provided. Registration can be done in person at the rink, by phone with a credit or debit card or online at www.activecasper.com.

  • Fall Skating Classes


    Come out to the Ice Arena and hone those skating skills!

    New Fall Casper Skating School Classes begin the week of October 31st at the Casper Ice Arena. These classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings and run for six weeks. Classes are open to anyone ages 3 & older and are offered in Basic Skating Skills, Adult Skating, Figure Skating, Tot Hockey and Hockey Power Skating & Endurance.

    Registration is open and Scholarships are available to those who qualify. Participants can register at either the Casper Recreation Center, the Casper Ice Arena, online at www.activecasper.com or by phone with a credit or debit card.
