Survival Hack – Start a Campfire with a Sandwich Bag

This time of year, it usually isn't very hard to start a campfire. Almost everything is dry and easily ready to burn. But, I somehow can always figure out a way to fail at making a proper campfire. You can give me everything short of gasoline and a blowtorch, and I will manage to take forever to get a fire started. I have learned that resorting to basic fire starting techniques, can sometimes work better than throwing a bunch of matches on a pile of sticks.

Next time you find yourself trying to build a campfire, but forgot your lighter, try using a sandwich bag. It is a cool survival hack that you may find yourself needing someday.
