Bears are capable of some pretty amazing physical feats, but this one takes the cake. This Colorado bear decided to defy gravity and attempt to scale a near vertical cliff. He almost made it.

The person that shared this video said they were on the way to Edwards, Colorado when they came across a bear that jumped the guardrail and headed up the wall. For the record, Edwards, Colorado is located just to the west of Vail.

The bear made up nearly all the way up the rock wall to the trees, but...ended up doing an equally difficult feat: coming back down.

I thought this was quite unusual until I noticed on Backpacker that bears are well-known for being good rock climbers. Here's more video proof.

Note to self: Next time you see a bear, assume it's also Spiderman.
