There's a brand new video share of an elk in Estes Park, Colorado that took a severe dislike to a woman nearby. For some reason, none of the bystanders jumped in to help.

This was shared by Brian Berg on Facebook Thursday night.

What I don't understand is why many men standing nearby don't jump in to help the woman. What happened to chivalry, Colorado dudes?

As My Colorado Parks points out, mid-September to mid-October is prime elk rutting season. This means bulls are much more aggressive, so the fact that so many people were near this elk is a big problem.

There's no report as of now about the condition of the woman that was attacked. Will add details as I learn them.
