WATCH: Wyoming Guy Has Close Call with Mountain Lion

If you’re out in the wilds of Wyoming, this is always a possibility. A guy has just shared an encounter he had with a curious mountain lion. Fortunately, this one had a happy ending.

Bruce Balthaser recently dropped this special moment on YouTube. WARNING: Some NSFW words in this one which is understandable since he was this close to possible harm.

This guy almost did what the National Park Service says to do if you see a mountain lion in the wild. Specifically, they tell you to do the following:

• Stay calm
• Don’t approach the cat
• Do not bend over or crouch

The NPS instructs anyone in this situation to try and make yourself look as big as possible and if that doesn’t work, start throwing rocks or sticks at the cat. That is definitely considered a last resort.
