When Jaycey Lindsey represents Wyoming at the Miss International Pageant in August, she will likely be the only contestant who moonlights as a chicken farmer.

The pride of Wright, Wyoming, is more than just a beauty queen. A student in the University of Wyoming's Veterinary Science Program, Lindsey also founded her own business, Pralee Eggs and Hatchery.

Lindsey hopes the use the pageant as a springboard to help mentor other women who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

The 2017 Miss International Pageant will be held on August 4th and 5th in Charleston, West Virginia. Lindsey is one of 48 contestants from across the country.
