Wyoming’s Best Craft Brewery Has Strange Beginnings
Craft beer is all the rage these days and just like each brew, Wyoming's best spot has a unique story.
In the last few years, we have seen craft beer become more and more popular. Breweries are more than just a place to grab a drink. You get a behind-the-scenes look at the place you brew is crafted and many offer delicious food that pairs well with their selection. Plus, breweries often times host/sponsor community events, sporting watch parties, and even yoga classes.
Wyoming's top spot is even more special because of its history.
"The Best Craft Brewery in Every State in America", a list put out by the travel site Thrillist, named Melvin Brewing in Alpine the best in the Cowboy state. The story of this place is just as appetizing as the brews.
Melvin's was born to a Thai restaurant. The owner sold the restaurant on eBay, but then reclaimed it after it went under. From the ashes, delicious and award-winning beer was forged. Thrillist raves about their "local honey-infused Killer Bee's ale."
