A Casper intersection that's already in a construction tangle is going to get some extra eyes this week. The Casper Police Department has been rotating added enforcement around the top crash-prone intersections around town.  Each week Officers will be patrolling certain intersections and the surrounding areas and enforcing traffic laws in an effort to decrease crashes.

For the week of April 2nd, Casper Police are going to be concentrating traffic enforcement at the intersection of East Second Street and Southeast Wyoming Boulevard, which is currently part of a project to replace deteriorating concrete.

Casper Police are posting the targeted intersections each week on their Facebook page, and we'll also share them with you here.

From Casper Police:

"CPD knows that when vehicle crashes go down, so does automobile insurance and health insurance costs. Make sure to be mindful of the traffic laws, as you travel through our great city!"
