This is Shockingly the CHEAPEST Home Available in Jackson

For fun, I decided to see what the most affordable home in Jackson looked like. I found it and it's very nice, but you won't believe what the entry level cost for owning a home in Jackson is.

First, here's how I figured this. I did a search for "Houses" and sorted from least expensive to most on Zillow. I didn't include any townhouses or apartments. This is all about owning a house in Jackson.

Before I reveal the price, here are the facts about this property. According to Zillow, it's located at 1600 E J West Dr, Jackson, WY. It's a 2-bed, 2-bath that occupies around 1,200 square feet.

As you'll see in the pics, it's a very well-kept home that even has a log cabin element to it. I love log cabins. (*sigh*)

It has views of the Snake River and the forest. The deck view in particular is gorgeous.

Now, the big question. What would the most affordable home in Jackson cost you? Please sit down before I tell you. Current asking price is $740,000. Yes, you read that right.

If you had the coin, would you pay this price to own a home in Jackson? My wife would have to raise my allowance big time before I could consider it and that ain't happening.
