Gosh, I love to eat. It's just a fact that food and I will always be best friends. From cooking to consuming, and even the nap afterward, there are few things in life that bring me more joy. At some point in my life I would love to travel the country eating and this list is a great starting point.

Thrillist agrees, which is why they created "The Most Iconic Restaurant in Every State" list. They are quick to say that these restaurants are not necessarily the oldest in each state, but they are ones that have been around for more than 30 years and are still crowd favorites. Being able to stick around for a long time and continue to be loved are two key indicators of iconic-ness.

They determined The Virginian is the most iconic for Wyoming.

This place screams Wyoming. It's located in the Occidental Hotel in Buffalo. Opening its doors in 1880, The Virginian has maintained its Old West vibes and was reportedly loved by Teddy Roosevelt. Thrillist praises them for their steaks, rib eye, bison, elk... basically anything on the menu.
