For a long time, I had always thought that training snowdogs happened in Alaska or somewhere far away from Wyoming. It had never occurred to that their training might have actually happened in my home state.

I was happy to find out that there is a place up in Bridger Teton National Forest where Frank's Sleddog Tour Company takes not only new training dogs but they also have the retired snowdogs come to live out the rest of their days relaxing and going on the known trails.

I should also mention that the tours you go on lead you to a hot spring in Bridger Teton Mountains. So not only do you get a cool experience of getting to be apart of sleddog races, but you get to relax in a natural hot spring when you're done.
