A California man is behind bars after Cheyenne police discovered 91 pounds of marijuana in his car.

"On Friday evening at about 9 o'clock one of our officers saw a vehicle driving and not following traffic laws," said Officer Kevin Malatesta. "The officer made a stop on that vehicle and stopped it at Carbon and Lincolnway."

"This particular officer has a K9 partner, so while she was on the traffic stop she had her partner sniff the vehicle," he addded. "Capo detected the odor of drugs in the vehicle."

Thirty-year-old Rosalio Solis-Solorio of Modesto, California was arrested for felony possession of marijuana.

"This is one of the largest drug busts that we've made as an agency," said Malatesta. "(It's) certainly the biggest one that anyone can remember in recent history."
