I didn't think we were gonna have any real snow by Christmas. As it turns out, I may be wrong. It appears that Casper may get a white Christmas after all.

I saw the National Weather Service share this on their Facebook page earlier today. If you look close, you'll see Casper under the "white" part of their snow map.

If you dig deeper (no snow pun intended) into the forecast from the National Weather Service website, you'll see there is some significant snow possible for Casper later in the day on Christmas. It could be an inch or more beginning sometime Tuesday afternoon or night.

So, there you go. You might get your white Christmas after all. Since this is weather and weather is unpredictable, lots of things can change between now and Christmas Day. But, right now there looks like a good chance you will see snow for Christmas. Congrats.
