A portion of WY 258, also known as Wyoming Boulevard, is set to be repaved early next week on Casper's west side.

Jeff Goetz, a spokesman for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, says the paving is set to begin at roughly 5:30 a.m. Tuesday and will take place between Eagle and Talon Drives.

The work should be completed by Wednesday afternoon.

During the work, traffic will be reduced to a single lane. The lane reduction will move with the road work.

Lanes will be restricted to 12 feet within the work zone. The speed limit within the work zone will also be reduced.

Congestion and delays are likely with the road work, so Goetz advises drivers to find an alternate route if possible.

Drivers headed through the work zone are advised to pay attention and use caution.
