NWS: 3-6 Inches of Snow Possible for Casper Mountain
Casper Mountain could see several inches of snow pile up as a slow-moving Spring storm moves through Wyoming, though Casper itself will likely see no accumulation.
In a special weather statement posted Tuesday evening, the National Weather Service forecast three to six inches of snow for Casper Mountain from late Tuesday night through Wednesday.
Casper and other lower-elevation areas of Natrona County are expected to see little or no accumulation.
The statement called for rain mixing and changing to snow on Casper Mountain, while the lower elevations including Casper could see snow by roughly sunrise Wednesday.
Road surfaces on Casper Mountain could become slick, particularly Wednesday morning.
Winter weather advisories are posted in the eastern Bighorn Mountains and the eastern Wind River Mountains.
Dense for advisories are posted for portions of northeastern Wyoming and southeastern Wyoming.
